No Emperor should go without his (or her) throne, so I (and others from
Nordic Garrison) decided to build one.
We've just started and there's not much to show, but stay tuned for
updates...
28 February
Busy day!!!
Got a LOT done today!
Testfitting of the coushins:
Added grey base coat
Black coat
Drilled holes for the eletronic panels
And fitted them
Drilled holes for mounting the throne to the base
Epoxyed the bolts from underneath the base
Painted the base
Painted details for the panels and the top front
(NO idea who's that kid is)
21 February
Started on the panels today
You'll need a tray
Then cut out two pieces
Sand the edges
Drill mounting holes
Drill holes for the leds and insert them
Connect the wires
I used one ordinary red LED and one fake car alarm one
12 February
Made the second coushin today (with help of my mom)
10 February
Started on (and finished) the smaller part of the cushion.
9 February
Finally got the beginning of the foot in place so we can see how it
will sit on the floor.

Most of the inner shape is done

Andreas found a new hiding place.

Emperor Fett likes the throne...
7 February
Finished painting the grey parts of the window, will add highlights
and stars in the coming days.
Andreas and me also got a few bits in place on the throne.

Andreas and I bought a bunch of stuff for the build. Got together for
about an hour and started cutting pieces.
The "madman" is at work...

Gotta work, work...
Cutting wood with a machine is noisy!
Better put on some protective ear thingys!
