Start .:. Costumes .:. Star Wars .:. Emperor Palpatine .:. Mannequin

For my Emperor Palpatine costume I wanted a mannequin that could "stay in character". Therefore I've started to fransform a funky looking mannequin I had standing around at home.

Sprayed the mannequin with white carpaint to cover the old, funky paint...	More layers of white...	Also did the torso in black.	Started to shape the face with Plastilene clay.
Getting there...	...step by step...	Comparison with my latex appliance.	Covered the clay with liquid latex.
Moving on to red paint. An old trick to get the face more alive.	The another layer of liquid latex.	Is it onlu me, or does this look a bit like Frank (Hellraiser)?	First couple of layers of skin colour.
Enough for today.	Oh - hands got their first layer of paint as well.
